The Latrobe Country Club pool is a heated facility which also offers a smaller, baby-pool for infants. For swimming and sunbathing, the pool area offers a relaxing, alternative to golf with a trained lifeguard staff always on duty to ensure a safe environment for all guests. In addition to the well-maintained pool, the club completely refurbished the bathhouses in 2004. The pool staff provides ongoing aquatic programs for children and adults throughout the summer. These programs include swim lessons for all ages and water aerobics.  There is snack bar and grill by the pool that serves summer favorites like hamburgers and hot dogs, however, the full-dining menu is also available. "In the summertime, dining by the pool with your family is a great thing to do. You can order filet mignon and have it brought right to your deck chair," says General Manager Jerry Palmer. The swimming pool opens Memorial Day Weekend and stays open until school resumes in September. Pool hours are 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. |
